Has been a while I’m studying for the test, but never booked it. Probably going to do next month. I read the Cisco Official Guide, CBT, Jerome videos…and also have a lab with WLC 2504 + 3500 APs. I am interested in studying for the Cisco Wireless certification. I was wondering what study material everyone here uses? Is the official cert book enough to pass?

What about Labs? do you need certain hardware or can everything be done using packet tracer and GNS3??

@Dean…I had a large number of questions from the 437Q dumps but some questions were reworded, one was choose 2 instead of 3 and like 2 questions that seemed new to me as I had detailed in my earlier post on this page

Recommend using the CCNA Wireless Quick Reference guide as a first read when prepping for certification. Although it is an older doc, it has a lot of useful information in it:

@anon – the OCG is not enough. Packet tracer and GNS won’t work here. You’ll need a hyper visor to run a vWLC as an appliance. VMWare Workstation player is free, you can DL an ova from Cisco but you have to have a software contract with them. You’ll also need a few AP’s. They can be had on ebay for pretty cheap. Alternatively you can purchase a controller on ebay. A 2106 runs abt ~40-60 depending on the deal. HTH

Passed the exam an earlier, there are a lot of question that is not included in the 437Q but if you studied you don’t need to worry.

No WSC questions
No drag and drop
