The test for the 640-722 has 74 questions, 90 mins to finish. I had 4 labs also that included switch configuration review, Controller review, etc. One lab was ap cannot get an IP and it was due to the vlan not having the ip-helper address assigned to the svi. Overall, reading the Cisco 722 book helped as well TK.

Passed with 881/1000, got 5 labs I think, all mcqs from certcollection and this site. Labs were new and you have to study the book in order to pass this exam. So study hard!

Passed with 892/1000, won five laboratories, I think, all of certcollection PEM and this site. Labs were new and have to study the book in order to pass this exam. So study hard

for those of you looking for study material for CCNA Wireless Train Signal now have a video series for 640-722.
As for text there is only the old 640-721 CCNA wireless book and the new 640-722 quick reference guide.

FYI Train Signal also have CUWSS v2.0 if any one is looking to go for CCNP Wireless.
Nothing on new CBT Nuggets as of yet.

Hello all, I passed CCNA wireless today with score around 980. All dumps are still valid. I`ve got 4 labs: lab1 – n-clients can`t connect (only b/g is allowed), old clients can`t connect (WPA2 is set). lab2 – AP can`t associate – set ip helper with hexa WLC address. lab3 – DHCP server is on switch and also on WLC – question:how client get an ip address -> from WLC and also can be static (2 options question). lab4 – about logging – is set to errors and what else will be sent to syslog (you need to choose informational, notifications, warnings so memorize it). Wish you luck!

Passed the exam today. Multiple choice questions are pretty the same in dumps/website comments.

Below are 4-5 Lab scenario/multiple choice question I got (IP addresses might differ but they should replicate the same problem/question):
1. Topology is like this: AP- SW-WLC
Both SW and WLC configured with DHCP. On WLC GUI, it is configured with both primary DHCP (pointing to WLC) and secondary DHCP (pointing to IP of vlan1 on SW).
Q: How will the AP obtain IP address?
A:
1. Either receive from WLC or SW
2. Static IP configuration

2. Topology is like this: AP- SW-WLC
AP is unable to join WLC with DHCP error message as screenshot provided.
Basically, AP is in VLAN20 (10.10.1.0/24) and WLC (10.10.10.10) is in native VLAN 1
Two DHCP pool available, namely VLAN20 and VLAN1
Q: Which configuration should be added to fix the problem?
A: The answer in this exam should be:
ip dhcp pool VLAN20
DHCP option 43 ascii “10.10.10.10”

(Note: Another option is “DHCP option 43 hex “f1040a0a0a0a”, which is for LAPs other than 1000 series. Honestly as the AP model is not being provided in the exam, I guessed the answer)

3. Syslog Level is set to “errors” and Tx Power is set to 5
Q1: What information will you see in the log? (select 4)
A: emergencies, alerts, critical, errors
Q: You are currently at Tw Power level 5, in order to gain 3 dB increase, which level should you set to?
A: 4
Explanation: 1= 100%, 2 = 50%, 3 = 25%……… Power is reduced by half (3dB).

4. There are several WLC GUI screenshots.
Q: 802.11n device can not connect.
A: Wireless>AP>802.11 a/n 802.11n is not enabled
Q: Old laptop unable to connect to the network
A: Wireless>AP>802.11b network is incorrectly configured.

After I read comment from Paulie, I think I might have remembered the question 3 wrong for syslog level. Unsure. Please disregard that particular question.

WLC Syslog Levels
This caught me out when going through the IPX workbook and I also had a similar issue at the Fastlane bootcamp.
If they ask you in the lab to configure a specific log level, its not clear in the GUI what level it is as they are not in level order. So I thought, check the 4.2 config guide. ITS WRONG. The 5.0 config guide has the correct information! Learn if you can, but if you forget, remember to check the 5.0 Guide for reference!

To set the severity level for filtering syslog messages to the syslog servers, choose one of the following options from the Syslog Level drop-down box:

•Emergencies = Severity level 0
•Alerts = Severity level 1 (default value)
•Critical = Severity level 2
•Errors = Severity level 3
•Warnings = Severity level 4
•Notifications = Severity level 5
•Informational = Severity level 6
•Debugging = Severity level 7

If you set a syslog level, only those messages whose severity is equal to or less than that level are sent to the syslog servers. For example, if you set the syslog level to Warnings (severity level 4), only those messages whose severity is between 0 and 4 are sent to the syslog servers.

Below are the answers for labs I got:
1) Roundrobin method either wlc or switch will provide IP, client can be configured with static IP address.
2) WLAN general setting is not configured correctly (N clients issue), b/g/n networks not configured correctly (old b clients issue).
3) Set AP TX power level to 4 (b/g/n radio currently set to level 5, changing it to 4 will increase by 3dBm)
4) set the dhcp option 43 hex f1040a0a0a0a (10.10.10.10) for vlan 20 DHCP pool.

i desperately require the Labs for 640-722

I passed my exam a few weeks back, and although the labs are not on here, I promise you they are very logical, if you are using this site you will have plenty of time to relax and think about the labs. the labs caught me out as well i was just not expecting them, but even will that i was done and passed in 40 mins.

I passed today. 968/1000, very very easy.
The question are ALL tha same that dump in examcollection. Exactly tha same!

Cisco Lead2Pass 640-722 v2013-08-17 by Angel 162q.vce is still valid. All the MCQs were from this dump.

All the lab scenarios were different.
Based on client not getting an IP address ,
– DHCP setting on controller and AP wrong.
– All the vlans were not active in WLC.
-802.11n disable and 802.b/g not properly configured for all data rates . (old devices can’t connect)
Labs are not hard . Same scenario with a bit of twisting.

Actually they are not labs , all are scenario based questions , screenshots are given , and you have to pick the answer .
