I will be taking the exam tomorrow. I used Todd Lammle’s CCNA Wirelss Study Guide (640-721) and Jeorome Henry’s CCNA Wireless 640-722 IUWNE Quick Reference to prepare. I will post my results tomorrow.

there are some labs but you don’t have to configure. All the configurations are provided. familiarize your self with WLAN controller interface and configurations.Do some basic WCS exercise.

Well, I said that would post my results tomorrow and here it is nearly three weeks later. I apologize, I have been super busy with my job not to mention that I forgot.

I passed with an 849/1000 on 10/31. There is still quite a material form the 640-741 that is now in the current test. I did not have any questions on converting mW to dBm or ERP calculations. there were more than a few questions on a configuration that had multiple screens that knock me sideways and made me really think the questions through. Could not find the dumps anywhere so I used Todd Lammle’s Wireless study guide for 640-721 and CCNA Wireless (640-722 IUWNE) Quick Reference by Jerome Henry to prepare. I also searched Youtube for configuration examples to re-enfoce what I learned from the two books I used. I also bought a book titled 802.11n A Survival Guide by Matthew Gast that I wish I had read before taking the exam. 802.11n was covered almost exclusively on the exam so if you want to get a better handle on that technology, then this is the book to get.

All and all I was happy just to pass since I had a bomb dropped on me at the last minute and was told that I needed to have the certification by 10/31 which gave me less than a month to prepare. HA! Nothing like getting it done in the 11th hour eh?

Just passed in SA with 956.
Dumps still valid – scenarios slightly different to what has been explained previously and require a bit of thinking – but the answer is right there.
Passed using 640-722 Nuggets (helped a lot), on-the-job experience (managing Wifi environment with 2 x HA 5508 WLC’s and 290 LW APs) and dumps.
All done for 2013!

passed today, all 4 labs are totally different. One involved switch configuration, correct answer was “change Vlan of management interface of WLC”. The second lab I can remember is with 2 questions, the answer of both is the same: “Security settings on WLC/AP are the cause”. 2 more labs I cannot quite remember. Angel dump is 100% valid, all questions are exactly the same. Good luck!

Passed yesterday, dumps still well valid, but you need to know what you are doing as all labs were new!, they really made me think. So all done for this year, thanks all for your support, and as I always say always well prepare for an exam before you go through dumps as knowledge is what counts at work place not dumps, best of luck all!

But………..

The 4 lab questions aren’t in “dump” and catch me surprise.

My luck is that i was see INE videos( more deep in config than CBT ) and have a little practice in WLC…

I have passed last week with 90x/1000 the dump Angel.162q is still 100% valid. As minotauro the 4 labs were a suprise and I founded this difficult as many printscreen just for one answer…
I was using Angel 162q dump, pdf book from 640-721, CBT nuggets and some practice on controllers.
Next steps : CCNP Routing ans switching and CCNP Wireless.

I asked you a question ” I am planning to take exam in next week. I have gone through examcollections dumps. Is it sufficient to attend the exam? Please reply..” and its answer is NO..!!

As per my experience i got 4 lab question (3 labs -1 question and 1 lab- 2 question), 4 drag and drop out of 74 questions. We can depend around 70-80% for exam collection dumps. I referred last 3 dumps, ccna wireless official exam guide, and 640-722&721 cbt nuggets.

Here everyone asked multiple times about the lab questions but no one explained about it. I would like to give a try on it.

In lab question we dont need to run any commands, all the necessary outputs are shown in separate separate tabs in the page itself. 1 or 2 multiple choice question will be there, we have to read and understand the question thoroughly and choose the correct answer from the given options.

Lab 1: APSWWLC

here client getting dhcp ip address from the dhcp pool configured in the switch. the primary dhcp configured in wlc is not resolving ip address to the client.

Ans: if we check thoroughly the outputs given, we can see dhcp pool created in WLC is in disabled state. Choose this point from given options.

Lab 2: AP,WLCSWLAPTOP

Here the problem is from the laptop we are not able to ping/http the management ip of the wlc

Ans: native vlan is wrongly configured in wlc end

Lab 3: ClientAPSWWLC

Q1: clients are not able to connect in .11n radio

Ans: ssid was only selected to enable on b/g radio

Q2: Old laptops were not getting connected

Ans: In advanced setting you will be able to see number of allowed clients “0”. That is wrong

Lab 4: Sorry i just forget about the question, will write again once i recall it.

For me i just made the courage to attend the lab question. Was not having any idea about these questions. Just prepare about the switching part as well before going for the exam.

Passed my CCNA-Wireless last week with an 89* thanks to wirelesstut, 640-722 Wireless Quick Reference Guide, and CBT Nuggets.

Ok here are a few details about the exam. Exam minimum passing score for the CCNA Wireless 640-722 is a 790. Exam included 74 questions with 90 minutes to complete.

LAB questions are exactly as described ABOVE from Jose with 4 lab / scenario questions that include multiple questions on several screenshots from both WCS, WLC, and a Switch show run & debug commands. No configuration is needed but you do NEED TO KNOW how to manage a WLC in WCS 7.0.

I suggest downloading WCS onto a Windows server VM and learning how to manage clients, radio usage, DHCP, AAA, manage security, place AP’s, and upload maps.

just today i passed the exam with 987/1000

all MCQs almost from this dump while i got 4 simulator scenario which also already discussed below in com

Scenario were:

1) Roundrobin method either wlc or switch will provide IP, client can be configured with static IP address. two answers
2) WLAN general setting is not configured correctly (N clients issue), Security WPA2 were mapped to tkip (old b clients issue).
3) Q1: Set AP TX power level to 4 (b/g/n radio currently set to level 5, changing it to 4 will increase by 3dBm) and Q2: What information will you see in the log? (select 4)
A: emergencies, alerts, critical, errors

4) set the dhcp option 43 hex f1040a0a0a0a (10.10.10.10) for vlan 20 DHCP pool

Scored a 978. I will be uploading my version of this dump with some corrections and changes. I got the same SIMS as mentioned in previous post except for a new SIM which has not been mentioned or shown. I do not remember the question. Below are the SIMS from previous post.

Q1: Gives a scenario where an AP can’t reach the controller. They are connected through a switch and the AP is on vlan 1 and the WLC is on vlan 20. The question asks which switch commands will allow the AP to reach the WLC. All deal with DHCP option 43 and you must determine which vlan to apply it to and whether to use hex and ascii. The answer I chose was vlan 1 and hex.
Q2: Shows some WLAN, radio, and other configuration and first asks why clients cannot achieve full 802.11n rates. The WLAN is configured for WPA2/TKIP, so the answer I chose was improper security settings. Second part asks why some older 802.11b/g clients cannot connect. Answer is also security settings as the clients cannot handle WPA2/TKIP.
Q3: DHCP scopes within the same network are configured on the WLC and on the switch. They do not overlap. Question asks about client IP address assignment behavior. First, DHCP is not required on the WLAN, so a client can configure a static address. This is the first answer. Second answer I chose was that DHCP requests will be fulfilled by the WLC and switch in a round robin fashion.

Below are the answers for labs I got:

I passed the exam today with 1000/1000 the laboratories they left me are:

My answer: add DHCP option 43 hex “WLC IP in hexadecimal format” because the AP to take DHCP option 43 takes, and address of the WLC is the ip administration in hexadecimal.

2nd Scenario: AP, Switch and WLC. Two DHCP polls configured one on switch and one on WLC. The question was about how the client get the IP.
My answer: Static IP for users, because the DHCP in WLC, and DHCP Server overlap, so do not give address.

3rd Scenario had 2 questions: They had shown config of AP, WLC and switch to look at and figure out the problem.
My answers:
(1) Wireless->802.11b/g (all the B Data Rates were disabled and old clients with only 802.11b weren’t able to connect)

Found all the questions in this Dump. Plus I had 3 Scenarios:

Dumps very valid. I had 74 questions in the exam out of which 4 questions were lab sims; rest 70 were all from these dumps. Cleared the exam with 978/1000. Please read the comment section of the dumps uploaded before this version (The one with 171 questions).

In some of the lab sims, there were two questions in a single sim so total of 6 questions in 4 sims.
I can’t remember exactly all the lab questions but here is what I recollect.

1. First one was about the DHCP troubleshooting and answer to this question was “DHCP option 43 hex f1040a0a0a0a for vlan 20 DHCP pool”

2. The question was: What power level should be set on the WLC to increase the power by 3dB for 2.4 GHz frequency band. The current power level set was 5. So the DESIRED power level would be 4 (1 being the max and 7 being the least). Be careful: Both 2.4 and 5 Ghz WLC screenshots were shown so concentrate on 2.4 Ghz. only.

3. WLC and switch both were providing DHCP service and the question was which would provide the IP addresses. Answer to the questions is : a) Both WLC and Switch would provide IP addresses in a Round-Robin fashion. b) APs can be assigned static IP addresses.

4. Question was why old 2.4 Ghz clients and clients using N-adapter were not able to associate to network : Can’t remeber the answers.
