Have the exam next weekend and although I have read the OCG guide twice, completed the nuggets twice, done all the questions on the OCG and supported a wireless network for the last year or so as well still feel this may be the most testing CCNA exam and I already have 5 of the others.

    QUESTION 22
A wireless engineer has an access point using the 5.725-GHz channel in the United States. In which band is the AP operating?
    A. UNII-1
    B. UNII-2
    C. UNII-2 Extended
    D. UNII-3
Dump says C, my research says D. thoughts?

    http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/solutions/Enterprise/Mobility/emob41dg/emob41dg-wrapper/ch3_WLAN.pdf

The channels in UNII-3 are 149,
    153, 157, 161, 165 (5.725-5.825) and do not require
    DFS and TPC.

If anyone has a current dump I would really appreciate a copy. I have studied the official study guide, taken all kinds of practice tests, and still bombed it last week. I was getting in the mid 90%s on the practice test only to get a 760 on the exam due to questions not covered in the study materials. I have rescheduled the test but am anxious to know I am not just wasting my money. Thanks in advance!

SamSmith, according to OCG UNII-3 channel 149 starts off from 5.745 while UNII-2E channel 140 starts from 5.700 (chapter 2: RF standards). So, since each channel requires 20MHz width for OFDM, I think the logical answer here is C

Passed the exam. 90% of questions from q103, some with different phrasing. No WCS, only 1 D&D (Absorbtion… etc). I studied OCG and had some on-hands experience. Thanks for this forum.

  25. Conr43
    June 9th, 2016

Merry, I found some questions on 103Q dump that I’m not sure if the answers are correct… do you feel the same? Have you already tried to solve the questions?

  26. Manny
    June 9th, 2016

@Conr43 do you have a list of which ones you are unsure of?

  27. Conr43
    June 9th, 2016

I have several doubts: Q32 I would answer BE

  28. Conr43
    June 9th, 2016

    Q57 I’m not sure…

You can display a list of interference detection reports on a controller by selecting Monitor > CleanAir > 802.11a/n/ac or 802.11b/g/n > Interference Devices.

You can display the air quality metrics for every AP on a controller by selecting Monitor > CleanAir > 802.11a/n/ac or 802.11b/g/n > CleanAir > Air Quality Report

You can see a summary of the AP with the worst air-quality rating in each band by selecting Worst Air-Quality Report

So I would answer C, otherwise I cannot see if interference was caused by a radar

  29. Conr43
    June 9th, 2016

What about you guys? Have you found any wrong answers?

  30. Manny
    June 9th, 2016

    So I would go with A on Q57 because…..

A – You can see a column for DFS on top see what APs its affecting

B – This will identify a single AP on 2.4 and 5 but you are looking at an entire site based on the question

C – were dealing with DFS so don’t have to worry about the 2.4 side of things

D – were not worried about a mobility problem here

  31. Conr43
    June 9th, 2016

I see, DFS is the key on Air Quality Reports, thank you

  32. Conr43
    June 9th, 2016

    Q48 I would go with A because:

“Converged controllers (WCMs) can be configured as a logical Switch Peer Group (SPG), simplifying roaming between the WCMs.”

  33. Manny
    June 9th, 2016

Im heading to lunch then I’ll hit you back on this @Conr43 this is a lot of fun….Im going for mine next month…..

  34. Conr43
    June 9th, 2016

I would like to go this month but I’m not having enough feedback from exam takers…
    :(

  35. SamSmith
    June 9th, 2016

Yeah I’m wanting to take mine at the end of this month as well. Feedback isn’t as good here.

  36. SamSmith
    June 9th, 2016

Conr43, go to pages 14-16 and there is some good feedback there.

  37. Conr43
    June 9th, 2016

SamSmith are you only using Q103 dump? If so, do you think that those Q103 answers are reliable? Thank you

  38. Manny
    June 9th, 2016

Can someone explain question 70 off the 103…since FPSL and the transmitter dBm isn’t given how they can come up with that answer…..there is a similar example in Cisco Press but it almost feels like you have to assume that FPSL is assumed at -69

  39. Manny
    June 9th, 2016

@Conr43 I think I figured out the explanation for q48….
In converged you have the actual controllers (MC) and the termination for the CAPWAP tunnels (MA)(access switch as a WCM) and they are talking about the controller portion which would be a mobility controller…the MC manages all the MAs and provides functionality for a client to roam between MAs in a mobility group

  40. Manny
    June 9th, 2016

@Conr43….your answer with Switch Peer Groups (SPG) happens after MAs are tied to an MC they can build CAPWAP between themselves….however they still need a controller (MC) to handle the mobility group

  41. Abhishek
    June 10th, 2016

Hello Guys, I have passed today with 985 marks. All the questions are from 103q dumps. However it seems that one answer is wrong in the dumps. BTW passing mark is 860.
    Cheers !!!!!

  42. Merry
    June 10th, 2016

Sorry Guys, i didn’t reach that page yet am still on Q 35. i will check it….

and @Abhishek congratulation!!!! This will give us confidence…

  43. SamSmith
    June 10th, 2016

Abhishek, which question are you talking about that is wrong in the dump?

Conr43, I dont know if it’s enough, have yet to take the test.

I go through each question and verify the answer. Pages 14-16 go over the ones that seem to not be right.

  44. Merry
    June 10th, 2016

Hold on Abhished, Can you please share with us the topic that was covered in the exam???

and how many question where in the exam? and please provide Extra study resources if you have… I want to go write month-end

  45. SamSmith
    June 10th, 2016

    Q43 I would stay with B:
Mobility controller: A mobility controller provides mobility management tasks including interswitch peer group roaming, RRM, and guest access. One mobility controller is required for each mobility subdomain. A Cisco Catalyst 3850 switch can serve as a mobility controller for small to medium-sized deployments. For large deployments, a dedicated WLC such as the 5760 WLC or WiSM2/5508 WLC with a software update is required.

  46. Conr43
    June 10th, 2016

Manny, regarding Q70 you are correct, FSPL is -69dB. You can find the following sentence on cisco ccna wireless book:

“For perspective, you might see a 69-dB Wi-Fi loss over a distance of about 13 to 28 meters.”

  47. Conr43
    June 10th, 2016

Thank you guys for your help on Q43.

  48. Conr43
    June 10th, 2016

Thank you Abhishek, I’ll focus on 103Q dump!

  49. Conr43
    June 10th, 2016

    Q67 shouldn’t it be answer A?
    Regarding Cisco book:
“In other words, the gain of an antenna is a measure of how effectively it can focus RF energy in a certain direction.”

  50. Conr43
    June 10th, 2016

    Q73 isn’t 14dBm?
