    @ FCS

    hm..
    i really thought i will pass, but i answered most mesh-questions wrong.(just had 33%)
I thought the answers in the dumps are incorrect(were the same questions as in exam), so i tried to correct them with a wlan ccie.
Well, i think i’ve corrected them wrong, haha.

I think u are right with answer C.

“Design” questions from cisco were always really confusing.
I will wait for new dumps now..i’ve had a course of 300-365, got learning materials and failed anyway..

    Hi,

So I tried to correct all wrong answers as well in the prac exams but ended up getting 800. So close but still failed. I can confirm PassLeader dumps are a fail.

    Hi:

Resuming the prep for this exam, very hard, to pass.

NO.1 VoWLAN implementation plans for a current mix of existing Cisco Unified Wireless IP Phones
7920G and 7921G to a final migration of Wireless IP Phones 7925G in a single WLAN. What would be
the most appropriate WLC WLAN configuration to end with Wireless IP Phones 7925G?
    A. 7920 Client CAC = enabled only; Radio Policy = All; WMM = Disabled
    B. 7920 AP CAC = enabled only; Radio Policy = All; WMM = Allowed
    C. 7920 Client CAC = enabled only; Radio Policy = 802.11a only; WMM = Disabled
    D. 7920 AP CAC = enabled only; Radio Policy = 802.11a only; WMM = Allowed
    E. 7920 Client CAC = enabled only; Radio Policy = 802.11b/g only; WMM = Disabled
    F. 7920 AP CAC = enabled only; Radio Policy = 802.11b/g only; WMM = Allowed
    Answer: B

I guess the answer is correct.

    Question NO.2 PLease see above.

NO.3 A wireless engineer at a convention center has been asked to provision an SSID that can
accommodate 4,000 users during a conference. Which interface group configuration should be used?
    A. One interface with /20 mask
    B. Two interfaces with /21 mask
    C. Four interfaces with /22 mask
    D. Eight interfaces with /23 mask
    Answer: D

I guess the answer is correct, since old Cisco wired Broadcast domains size recommendations in a Ethernet LAN point to 400 devices. Please let me know your opinion about it (I’ve found no Cisco WLAN design document about this).

NO.4 A customer is implementing a massively scaled guest wireless network to support
approximately 32,000 clients. For ease of administration, they have required implementing multiple
interfaces defined on the WLC and mapped to a single interface group. Which configuration meets
    this need?
    A. 264 interfaces of/25 sized networks
    B. 132 interfaces of/24 sized networks
    C. 66 interfaces of/23 sized networks
    D. 33 interfaces of /22 sized networks
    Answer: D

I guess this answer is correct since WLC interface groups support a maximum of 64 interfaces accordingly with http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless/5500-series-wireless-controllers/113465-vlan-select-dg-00.html.

NO.5 An engineer wants to configure WebEx to adjust the precedence and override the QoS profile
on the WLAN. Which configuration is needed to complete this task?
    A. Change the AVC application WebEx-app-sharing to mark
    B. Create an ACL for WebEx.
    C. Change the WLAN reserved bandwidth for WebEx.
    D. Create an AVC profile for WebEx marked with a lower DSCP value
    Answer: A

I guess this answer is correct.

Accordingly with the below link, “If AVC profile mapped to WLAN has a rule for MARK action, that application will get precedence as per QOS profile configured in AVC rule overriding the QOS profile configured on WLAN.”

Regarding question number 3 I’ve just found a Cisco document that may help.
Accordingly with the below link, “One subnet for wired data and one subnet for wireless allows for flexibility.
Subnets can be /24 or /23, and allow for 253 hosts or 509 hosts,
respectively with a single address reserved for the default gateway.”

NO.7 The customer has deployed C7960 phones with clients connected to them.
What switch feature could be enabled to distinguish IP voice traffic from client data traffic?
    A. QBSS
    B. WME
    C. Weighted Queuing
    D. VoiceVLAN
    E. QoS routing
    Answer: D

I guess the answer is correct.

    “Configuring Voice VLANs
This and the following sections define how VoIP and data traffic can use the same physical link while operating on separate Layer 2 VLANs. ” accordingly the link:

Now, the lab, which requirements seem to me improperly described:

    NO.8 Scenario
One of your colleagues has setup a test network in the lab to simulate a new building atone of your
regional offices. Your team is testing AP failover. Your colleague has requested you to configure the
WLCs so that in the event of a loss of one of the WLCsthe other wings APs will fail over to the
    remaining WLC.
The APs on the East-WLC-2504A should fail over to the West-WLC2-2504A, and the APs on the West-
WLC2-2504A should fail over to the East-WLC-2504A.
Set the priority of the APs so the backup controller recognizes the join request from the higher-
priority AP and if necessary disassociates a lower-priority AP to provide access to an available port.
Not all menus, tabs and features are supported.

  14. CRC32
    December 2nd, 2016

Accordingly to the topology diagram there’s only one AP on each wing.

Regarding the requisite fo WLC failover, configuring controllers in the High-Availability tab of both APs in the correct order seems to me a easy task: For AP 3700-East-Wing the 1st WLC is East-WLC-2504A and the 2nd is West-WLC2-2504A. For AP 3700-West-Wing the 1st WLC is West-WLC-2504A and the 2nd is East-WLC2-2504A.

  15. CRC32
    December 2nd, 2016

Regarding the requisite of AP priority, since there are no explicit specification about the priorities to assign to each AP, I assume both should be configured with the highest priority, that does not make really sense since both will have the same priority. For sure I’ve missed something because I’m not sure about what the exam writer really wants.

I really would appreciate your comments , especially about this item, that’s very easy to configure, after understanding want the exam writer really wants.

  16. CRC32
    December 4th, 2016

Accordingly with the below document the “Global AP Failover Priority” must be enabled in Wireless > Access Points > Global Configuration below choosing AP Failover Priority for each AP.

    http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/7-4/configuration/guides/consolidated/b_cg74_CONSOLIDATED/b_cg74_CONSOLIDATED_chapter_01110101.html.

@Finki and OPM (or any other that already sit the exam):

Do you remember the configuration of “Global AP Failover Priority” must be enabled in Wireless > Access Points > Global Configuration?

  18. CRC32
    December 4th, 2016

I’m mentioning Backup controller, instead of Secondary (or Tertiary) controller, because reading carefully the scenario description, it states “Set the priority of the APs so the backup controller recognizes the join request from the higher-priority AP”.

What’s does the exam writer mean exactly with “backup controller”? the primary or secondary backup controllers that can be also configured? or the secondary or the tertiary controllers?

Knowing what is configured in the APs High-Availability tab would be of great help, e.g. if a secondary controller is already (mis)configured or not (sometimes it happens).

  19. CRC32
    December 4th, 2016

I guess that a secondary controller without ip address specified should be configured, to fullfil the scenario requirement.

    Please share your opinions. Thanks.

    Hi There,

i can acknowledge that passleader dump for 300-365 is not valid, failed with 6xx.

there was only 1 new question about rx-sop
as far as i remember they asked that authentication is not possible, what is causing this
    a set to auto
    b set to low
    c set to medium
    d set to high
    i guess answer should be “b” (http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/technotes/8-0/hdx_final/b_hdx_dg_final/high_density_experience_features_added_in_release_8_0.html)

@ f2racer, please let me know what are the questions 53 / 55 / 57 are, seems i have also an incomplete passleader dump

could any one answer to CRC32 question about ap fail over.
i also found only issue on east WLC AP order. both ap’s are at high and i left them.
is there any thing else may i missed? (apply / save config?)

    for sim / exhibit:
There is a problem with the East-WLC-2504A,
When confguraaon changes are made to the Employees-EastWing AP Group that covers the East-Wing,
none of the APs receive the updates.
there are 4 answers not 2
    A. Change the AP in the Employees-East-Wing AP Group.
    B. Change the IP Address in the east-wing interface.
    C. Change the VLAN Idenafer in the east-wing interface.
    D. Enable Dynamic AP Management in the east-wing interface.
    E. Change the Port Number to 2 in the east-wing interface.
    F. Add the Primary Controller and IP address to the 3700-East-Wing AP
    G. Change the SSID in the Employees-East-Wing AP Group.
    H. Change the Interface/Interface Group In the Employees-East-Wing AP Group.

    Answers: DFGH
but i’m not sure about “G”, i choosed DFH and “C”
does someone have expirience about this?

@ f2racer, did you pass already?
could you give more details to Q2?

    Hi:

I’ve also noticed that PassLeader answer to question 33 is incomplete since 4 options are required and only 2 are presented: D,F.

Accordingly with BrainDumpQA (question 57) the correct answer is D,F,G,H. Since no WLC menus are shown, it’s not possible to verify its validity.

    Hi:

I’ve also noticed that questions of PassLeader from 62 to 70 are strictly Security related not Architecture and VoWLAN related, so I really doubt they belong to this 300-365 WIDEPLOY exam.

I’ve noticed that BrainDumpsQA 62Q has 63 questions, since one of them is not numbered, but by other hand there are 2 questions repeated, so this dump has only 61 QAs that I truly believe are all valid for 300-365 WIDEPLOY exam.

    Q26: BFG not ADE (very tricky… ??

    Yes f2racer, really tricky indeed.

From the scenario description we can get 2 things:

WLC configuration shows no other wlan than wlan 1, so I assume the client is connecting to wlan 1.

That there’s a local branch backup radius server entity since “wireless client is connecting to FlexAPI which is currently working standalone mode” and a debug of RADIUS message is being presented, assigning the VLAN 15 to the client.

They want to know 3 things:

    1. what’s the client VLAN while the AP is in standalone mode.
When AP1 is in standalone mode then the local RADIUS server VLAN assignment applies: VLAN 15, attribute Tunnel-Private-Group-Id (code 81) is the VLAN number which value is 15.

    Information provided by the link:
    http://www.opus1.com/nac/teamwhitepapers/2008-09switchfeatures.pdf

  43. CRC32
    December 20th, 2016

    2. what’s the client VLAN while the AP is in connected mode.
When AP1 is in connected mode the configuration shown in “show ap config general” command output applies, so AP1 VLAN mapping for wlan 1 is vlan 10 (AP-Specific).

There’s few information about the above command. I’ve found the link: https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/11926306/modeflexconnect

    3. whether the client will remain associated or will be de-authenticated during the transition to connected mode.

Accordingly with the link below, “Once the access point reestablishes a connection with the controller, it disassociates all clients, applies new configuration information from the controller, and allows client connectivity again.”

    Link: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/8-1/configuration-guide/b_cg81/b_cg81_chapter_0101100.html#ID199

So I cannot confirm your answer is correct IMHO accordingly to the above.

I guess the correct answer is A,C,H instead of your answer BFG.

    2. what’s the client VLAN while the AP is in connected mode.

    Q38: D not B

I cannot confirm your answer is correct IMHO accordingly to the link below (1st paragraph of Configuring QoS on Controllers section):

    https://books.google.pt/books?id=CIp1mXAystsC&pg=PT34&dq=cisco+7920+CAC&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjrq_Gri9PQAhUJWRQKHdL0DfQQ6AEINDAA#v=onepage&q&f=false

I guess the answer provided is correct.

The scenario states that ” current mix of existing Cisco Unified Wireless IP Phones 7920G and 7921G to a final migration of Wireless IP Phones 7925G”, so I guess the “the most appropriate WLC WLAN configuration to end with Wireless IP Phones 7925G” should be such that allows the connection of all 3 models of phones to get simultaneously connected in order to allow the migration.

Reading the 1st paragraph of the above link we get that model 7920 does not support WMM, models 7921 and 7925 support WMM. It’s possible to coexist all 3 types if 7920 operates with AP CAC (for newer firmware 7920 phones) since client CAC (old firmware 7920 phones) is not compatible with WMM. We may assume the 7920 firmware of this scenario is the new not the old, I guess.

Regarding radios, 7920 is 802.11b only, 7921 and 7925 support 802.11a as well.

In fact from this scenario point of view 7921 and 7925 models are alike, as below (Cisco Unified Wireless IP Phone 7925G QAs):

. What are the major differences between the Cisco ® Unified Wireless IP Phone 7925G
and the Cisco Unified Wireless IP Phone 7921G?
    A. The phones have essentially three main differences:
? The Cisco Unified Wireless IP Phone 7925G is hermetically sealed to provide protection
against dust and liquid splashes. It is IP54 rated.
? The Cisco Unified Wireless IP Phone 7925G is more rugged. It is compliant to MIL-STD-
    810F, Procedure I, Method 816.5.
? The Cisco Unified Wireless IP Phone 7925G supports Bluetooth 2.0 including Extended
    Data Rate.

    The exam requires 3 parameters:

    1. 7920 CAC: should be AP not Client, in order to coexist with WMM.

    2. WMM should be Allowed not Disabled, in order to coexist with non-WMM 7920 model and provide WMM features.

    3. Radio: should be All, 2,4GHz for 7920 model and 5GHz for 7921 and 7925 models (best practices).
