Passed today with 956 , Dump still valid only multiple choices but drag and drops in a dump is not on the exam.
# Drag and Drops 5 (I remember 2 questions )

1.The scheme AP-SW-WLC.DHCP was configured on SW and WLC but with the same pool address.How will AP get IP address.

2.1 801.11n devices cannot connect to wi-fi. What is the reason of it? As far as I undestood the reason of it is the not Enable
Broadcast SSID in WLANs > Edit >Profile Name , Incapacitate devices cannot connect to wi-fi
2.2.Old Wi-Fi devices cannot connect to wi-fi net. What is the reason of it? Check the speed of 802.11 b/g standart. As far as I rememeber 11 Mbps was disable. Probably It’s the reason ;

Finally, if you’ve played through the WLC and WCS, it can be 80% good luck.

can anybody share a little more about the simulations in the test ?

Passed today with 956 , 5th December, finished 16 Cisco Exams within 1 year.. get 9 certifications now…Except CCIE LEVEL… Next year CCIE VOICE…….

170 Questions Examcollection is valid, about 5 new questions are not in the Dumps..

One Drag-Drop is about clear, Remove, Delete, you have to choose remove from databse, still in the databse, keep 30 days……

Another one is SSH ,TELNET,,, choose from enable, debug,conf t, show…..

For Simulations, you have to learn from WLC AND WCS….The question is about AP, SW,WLC.. Why clinet can not connect to WPA…….. You just need to select the answer.
So if you are familar with those configuration, you can easily choose the right answer.

If you want to get high mark, do your research,,, check those concepts..

thanks allot Ben , I do have experience with WLC interface and NCS interface (no WCS but close…) I also have exam topics and dumps covered.
I wanted to know about the simulations : is there anything that needs to be configured or just navigate through the web interface and answer questions ?
and also , are there simulations on standalone AP (have no experience with those at all) ?

my test is in 18 hours , hope anybody can answer quickly.

As per mu understanding there aren’t any sims. Maybe there is a picture or some stuff you can click on and look at, but nothing like the sims on the CCNA where configuration changes on equipment need to be made.

passed with 967 . dumps still valid , they only changed the order .
there were about 4 simulations and 4 D&D not in dumps
in the first sim you have an AP not able to associate to a controller , thay give you a switch config and ask you what needs to be change in order for it to work. the answer is to configure
option 43 on the switch scope.
another sim , more complicated with 2 questions about clients that use 11n and cant use the network , answer is in the general WLAN config , its configured to support b/g clients only.
the second question is about old laptop clients that cant use the network , I answered the problem was the security configuration was wrong because it only supports WPA2 and not WPA but I am not sure , I didnt see any other better option.
another sim was about power configuration in the controller for the AP radio , dont remmember exact details but the ask you what power level you need to put in order to increase the power level of the AP , its configured with the number 5 , and they want you to increase the power by 3db , I answerd that the number needs to be 4 because 3db means doubling the power and every number in the scale doubles the power (4 is double than 5 , 3 is double than 4 and so on) I think I was right.
another sim was about logging levels , they show you a controller log configuration that is set to errors and ask you which other level of logging are going to be sent to the syslog server , pretty much like the qustion in the dumps but in a form of a sim.
aboute the D&D , all are new but some people mentioned them before ,
one Q you need to know aboute the alarms in WCS , what happens to the alert after you delete\acknowledge\clear it (sorry I dont remmember the other side of D&D) but basically you need to know how long it stays in the database and if it will pop up again later , for example if you delete an alert it will not stay in the database and so on
another Q was about the CLI commands available on an AP controlled by a controller
another Q was to set the correct order of OPEN authentication , answer is 1.client send probe 2.APs send probe response 3. client chooses one ap and sends authentication request 4. AP sends auth respons 5 client sends association request 6.AP sends association response
cant remmember the rest but basically if you just need to pass , know the dumps and you will probably get 800 or so even if you dont get the new question correctly , I had 74 question , about 65 of them were from dumps

SIM are quit different, Anonymous comments useful up to some extent. I will post more clearly

3 sim type questions. one about error logging. (not sure i got it) and tx power level. answer should be 4. another on why 802.11n were not connecting and why old laptops not connecting. i think “n” were not enabled in general page in both a and b/g. not sure. old laptops not connecting coz 1,2,5.5 and 11 rates were not enable. (again not sure). 3rd question was on how client ip address gets. i have no idea. if others remember plz update. good luck.

Just passed today, only got 3 questions wrong. Dumps are still valid, be sure to read the comments on examcollection for the dumps posted 17-Dec and 10-Jan for notes on the sims and errors in the dumps.
