i’m glad to see this site ! i’m planing on adding the ccna Wireless to my resume since i actually work on the stuff every day. i’ve accomplished the ccna, ccna Voice, and ccnp using this site. but i make sure i read the cisco press books on the subject and lab lab lab. i’m lucky enough to work for a service provider , so i have access to various cisco equiptment. and every day i use what i’ve learned. basically i use this site to get an edge for the exam . i’ve just got a hold of a controller a couple of AP’s and the CBT Nuggets. keep up the good work TUT ! i’ll keep you guys posted on my progress. Please Make Sure you understand the material.

i found a lot of good stuff @ http://certcollection.org sign up and search !!!, they seem to have almost everything but the Equiptment.

I am worried about the configuration part of the exam.

are we supposed to configure any wireless hardware such as the Access point and the Wireless controller?

@Engineer S: In the CCNA Wireless exam, there are no labs so you don’t need to directly configure wireless hardware but you must know “where they are” and “how”. Just check questions at

Hello, i try to do my first run ccna wireless exam on the 21th of this April, fingers crosses, and if no answer for the ultimate question : – Wow, i never had this exam before, what are the answers for those questions ? ..and where is the “catch” ? , then tut will help you out.

Passed with 978 today, this dump is still valid, I got 80 questions and no lab.
I got 4 new questions.

Just wrote my exam, new drag and drop, and a few new question, not to hard though. Everything is still valid. Got 98

and me too, passed it with 990/1000 score, about 12 new questions of 80 the rest it the same and 2 new drag and drops, easy stuff. Read official certification guide and you will be fine.

passed yesterday with 985, big thanks to Wirelesstut. I used also the Cisco IUWNE-book and CBT-Nuggets. 2 new questions concerning encryption, but easy to figure out.

I just took the test and only missed one question. This was a good website but there were about ten questions not covered on here. I can’t remember all of them but I have listed some of them below:

I was asked the different alarms on WCS.Answer should be Critical, Major and Minor

How many channels are available on 802.11A? I believe Answer is 54

There was a question asking the benefit of using outdoor mesh controller. I can’t remember what the answer was

Which Channel is affected the most by interference? Answer is 2.4ghz

There was a drag and drop asking what the Access Point Does and the WLC does. I can’t remember all the choices but I do remember probing was one choice.

Take a coarse, study the material and study the exam questions (wirelesstut)
One or two bogus questions.
One drag and drop question new:
“Match the 802.11 responsibility in the Cisco SPLIT MAC design:
Beacons, client authentication, encryption/decryption, rf management, transmission and buffer frames, 802.11 association and reassociation.
Drag these to AP or CONTROLLER.”

We are not sure which dumps are still valid now but you can pass by using only wirelesstut.com. Some new questions will appear but please read all the comments in this site you will be ready for the exam.

Cleared the exam a while ago and got 1000/1000. Some new questions (about 8 Q’s) but still managed to get thru.
Used CCNA Wireless study guide and CBTnuggets for wireless by Michael Shannon
Used actual test 205 and 203 question (VCE file) by Digidex and Steffy
Used actual 1130 and 1240 series AP and 4404 Cisco WLC since I’m the network admin at the office
Some new questions and answers I remember:
1. How many ap supported by 526 in cisco mobility express command-6 521AP’s
2.How many channels are available on 802.11A?-23 channels
3.Match the 802.11 responsibility in the Cisco SPLIT MAC design-Study the one’s above
4.Study all the questions here in wirelesstut, all is relevant

Some new questions from the Do I Know This Already quizzes in the Official Cisco Press Study Guide.

Took the test today and passed with great thanks to wirelesstut and the folks who have respnonded. This test is still valid and a good 85% to 95% I saw today are here. I saw the port-channel question as mentioned above.
There was a question on how to verify wireless connectivity from an Apple device. I more or less guessed on this one since I am not familiar with Apple products.
A new question that I saw which was not mentioned here was something along the lines of a how Controller handles itself when it is configured for Local EAP. It is not the same question that is posted here regarding users stay connected and EAP-Fast can still be used. You had to select two correct answer. I don’t remember the answers but some were along the lines of keeping a data base with in the mobility group or mobility domain. Just tried to answer this the best i could from my experience.

One question was what is the advantage of doing the Access Point Grouping? something like that.
