I think both are correct, but normally it’s a bad config. A N+1 config is normally like that: you have all LIC’s on one controller wlc2504 (for example) and on the second one you have NO LIC’s and the WLC is running on 75 temp LIC’s in case of the main wlc is down. But for the roaming it’s also bad…. because it’s not written that that both are in a mobility group…
