EXPL: 802.11r reduces the number of packets that are exchanged between the client and an AP. The client preauthenticates to the AP it will roam to before actually roaming. This means the roam itself occurs faster because the AP already has the client authentication credentials cached, resulting in fewer packets required between the client and the AP.

MVP, thanks! How good is the book? Were there many things on the exam that are not mentioned in the guide?

Just went to the exam and failed :( The official book is a good read but it does not cover at all the questions you can encounter in the exam. You will know a lot about RRM for instance, DCA or TPC etc.. but in the end it doesn’t matter as the exam questions are clearlw different. Highly disappointed in this book.

I spent a good time on the CWNP exams (and go it first time) but I forgot that remembering a official Cisco book by heart doesn’t guarantee you an exam.

Passleader is the only one available with valid questions, but not valid answers, about 20% are wrong. Treat the PL dump as if all answers are wrong, only 70% PL questions were on exam.If you only rely on dumps you will not pass.

I would say Answer is C – please don’t rely solely dumps as answers are crap. An AP can be configured with 3 controllers. Primary, Secondary + Tertiary.

I would say that C is correct. I think what they mean is Primary, Secondary and Tetriary controller. The questions literally says “on an access point”. Yoy do not configure controller HA on an access point.

No, the correct answer is C. 3. The question is about “high availability on an access point”. You can configure 3 WLCs as Primary, Secondary and Tetriary on the AP.
