Passed 200-355 exam today, 960/1000.

The 410Q dump is valid but the issues are not the same, they are similar changing number of options (70%). You have to understand them, not just memorize them. No Drag & Drop, no troubleshooting. Any new question (30)%

The 410Q Dump is still valid but you have no know the concepts and technology. You cannot just study the dump and pass. Read the book, watch CBT nugget vids, and on the job experience will help (that’s what helped me). No drag and drop, WCS, or the troubleshooting question. Some test questions will be choose two and the dump might say choose 3. There are new questions but my OTJ experience and knowledge helped me figure out the answers. Grats, JD!! I have a question. Do you know if there were any questions about Prime Infrastructure and Identity Service Engine? Or the GUI of lightweight APs, IOS XE, AirOS (etc)?

Yup that’s the only thing i needed. But also you have no know the product and work with wireless. My on the job experience helped me alot.

@ JD – I really appreciate your help and coming back to give some insight to the exam. Unfortunately, I don’t have any job experience with wifi and I am self-teaching the materials. However, I would really like to pass this certificate- so I have a couple of questions for you:

1- I’m going through the book, watching CBT nuggets, and using the virtual appliance and a couple of old APs for practice. What else do you recommend to be able to pass?

2- were all the questions from the dump or there were new ones? If so what was the percentage?

I would recommend learning what the acronyms means, be able to understand when they should be used. Example…EAP-TLS is a cert that is on the device and on the server. Once you have the understanding you should be fine. I would say that 70 percent of the questions where from the dump.

Watching the CBT nuggets videos did help alot. I didnt read the book be to me it was boring. Having a virtual appliance will help as well.

I can see many question about WCS but as far as I know 200-355 speaks about Prime and not WCS.
Does anyone know if the real exam has any questions about WCS??

Some of the questions from 410q contain old questions from 640-722 like WCS, LWAPP, and HREAP. Doesn’t the new exam 200-355 test you on prime infrastructure, CAPWAP, Flexconnect (etc)? I don’t think I can rely on the 410q :(

I’m studying with Cisco CCNA Wireless 200-355 official cert guide and Jerome Henry’s 200-355 videos and they cover just about everything, including the new stuff like CAPWAP, Prime, and Flexconnect. Anyone take the exam to see which one we’ll be tested on?

I am curious if Prime comes up in any exams taken now. 4.5.b Prime infrastructure is the only place on Cisco’s website’s 200-355 objectives that the word prime shows up. Implying all they want you to know its there as a enterprise management tool available. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

We’ll just have to ignore the posts with ads about dumps. I was looking at the 200-355 objectives at: https://learningnetwork.cisco.com/community/certifications/wireless_ccna/wifund/exam-topics

Seems like it doesn’t mention WCS or LWAPP. I heard someone mention something about knowing the GUI of PRIME, AirOS, and IOS XE for the exam. I think that person said about 1 or 2 questions about the GUI as mentioned above. Do a quick google search or youtube search and you’ll see what the GUI looks like.

If you remove from 410q the drag and drop, WCS, Troubleshooting and the LWAPP, the number of the questions decrease significantly..
But we need a confirmation..!!

I understand that Troubleshooting questions are the LAB questions, if I’m wrong please correct me!

When using multiple SSIDs on a lightweight AP, how does the traffic of each SSID reach
the 802.3 network?

A. provide routing between them at the core so that the SSIDs can reach the internet
B. configure 802.11q trunking on the Ethernet switch port that is connected to the AP
C. configure ACLs at the switch port that will allow all desired SSIDs to pass traffic
D. configure the SSIDs on the WLC and it will regulate the traffic based on traffic type

Can anyone help me on this question? It says the correct answer is B but I’m against it and the answer should be D. I thought lightweight APs communicate with the WLC via CAPWAP/LWAPP.

Answer B in my opinion is not correct because you have Access port between the Switch and the AP and not Trunk. Correct must be D. It is the WLC that does the routing between the different SSIDs that belong to different subnets.

-NO WCS, drag and drop, lab questions.
-410q is NOT 100% valid. I had 65 questions, approximately 15 were not there. Some new questions are mentioned in this forum.

-NO WCS or prime, no drag and drop, no lab questions.
-411q is NOT valid, maybe just a 50%, but no exactly same. I had 65 questions and you need 860 pts for pass, approximately 20 new, 50% mentioned in this forum on “the DOC”
