EIRP = Tx Power – Tx Cable + Tx Antenna
Tx Power=?

If

Tx Antenna = 21 dBi
Tx Cable = 2 mW = 3 dB
EIRP = 200 mW = 2* 10* 10 (in mW) = 3 + 10 + 10 (in dBm) = 23 dBm

then

Tx Power = 23 – 21 + 3 = 5 dBm = 3.16 mW

Yes 3.16mW if you use 21dBi, but if 21dBi is converted to dBm does it not become roughly 19dBm? The math is a nonreactor, I was just seeing if EIRP had to be calculated dBm across the board or if dBi for the antenna can be used.

I have found some wrong answers in JJ complete dump. Below is one example:

The allowed makes this on a mess. If you don’t trust me that’s fine go review CBT nuggets (16 – AP A la mode).

A. autonomous AP – can use truck ports to map multiples SSID to vLANs
B. FlexConnect (H-REAP) AP – can use truck ports for local switching
E. rogue detector AP – uses a trunk port to scan the wired network

H. Cisco WLC – Well the WLC commonly use trunk ports so you can map multiples SSID to vLANs with LW AP’s

Wait that’s 4 not 3 you say.. your right it is some how they don’t count the WLC. It said items not AP how can they not count the WLC? I don’t know but I would guess it’s a typo and should be WCS. This is one of about 10 such questions I found when reviewing the complete list of questions.

Before taking the test know the subject really study don’t think you can 100% fake it.

I am planning on taking my exam this week, I have read the entire book and the quick reference guide book, I kind of skipped over a bit of WCS as I don’t use this in office should I be focusing on this more as it seems the practice questions have lots on it? The book barely covered it if you ask me :)

No drag & drop questions, and no simulations & labs, total 60 questions!

Just the 69. :-) I freaked out at the last minute and studied the whole 272q, but it was a waste because it ended up being just 60 of the 69.

Lots of pointless WCS stuff? What about question 218? This sucks. I know all the standards, frequencies, regulatory bodies, and modulations. However, if I can’t tell you about WCS or if the WLC uses tftp/ftp, then I fail?

So much WCS. All pointless. ;-)

Regarding q218, I didn’t get that one on the actual test. I believe the answers are static IP or IP from WLC1.

It’s my understanding that WCS is tested all the way up to the CCIE level, even currently. How does one study?

I checked your right Wired Eyes WCS is still tested in CCIE bit silly my company removed WCS used NCS and now we are decommissioning that and using PRIME. I hope they update it soon as I want to do the CCNP.

@VCE Viewer: Use bluestacks w/c is an android simu on Windows then download “Classic A+” Classic A+ is not free so just search internet for a *.pak file

Hi, today I passed ccna wireless exam (640-722), but the date of expiry of ccna security (640-554) wasn’t updated. Why ?
Only CCNA R&S was updated!!
